Wangcome Hotel is a neatly designed hotel positioned just off one of Chiang Rai’s main streets in a quiet square. Peaceful stay when you need some privacy, yet the hotel boasts easy access to major attractions, downtown area and the vibrant night bazaar. Each outsized guestroom is lavishly decorated with a range of modern good quality amenities with a high emphasis placed on guests’ comfort and satisfaction.
Alongside casual and relaxing ambience, the in-house restaurant serves scrumptious International cuisine and International lunch buffet daily. Chill out at the “Sit Sip Bar”, or enjoy live karaoke singing and dance the night away at their chic music room. The meeting rooms teemed with well-equipped facilities are also available on-site.

Very pleasant stay. The hotel is of good quality - if a little overpriced for Chiang Rai (would be a reasonable deal if in Bangkok).

Working very smoothly - as always. I particularly appreciate that Sawadee can do billing in EUR, thus saving me 2.7 % + 1 EUR in banking fees.

The hotel decor and furnishings are a bit dated but are kept up well by the fantastic staff. The breakfast buffet was adequate but many items seemed to run out during the last 1/2 hour and were not refilled. The room itself was clean but the bathroom was in pretty bad shape. A recent A/C leak had left holes in the ceiling and mold and mildew had built up around that area. The shower head was very dirty and the toilet didn t flush properly. The location, near the Night Market, is perfect and the staff was very helpful and courteous. Overall a most pleasant experience.

Too many staff doing nothing in dining room and reception. Reception staff doing nothing, but leave you standing there waiting to check in. A huge number of dining room staff and they are almost embarrassed at the fact that they have nothing to do. Try to look busy shuffling plates, and stacking and restacking crockery.

This was our first stay at the Wangcome Hotel and we would recommend it. We booked a Grand Deluxe (because of the idea to give our holiday - after a long flight - a special beginning) and got a wonderful room with two (!) bathrooms. One can see that the hotel is a bit older, but it is clean. Although the Thai dishes were nearly cold (what seems to be common at hotel-breaktfast buffets), breakfast was really good and Thai coffee is offered (which we also recommend). The (old) bus terminal (take care, in the meanwhile there are two bus terminals!), the night market as well as other points of interest are in walking distance.

Had a deluxe room and was not disappointed. Service was excellent. Breakfast was very good. Last time stayed at the Wiang Hotel but my room and price was better here.
